1. Relationship Officer

Location: Dar es Salaa

Job Overview:

We are looking for two motivated Relationship Officers to join our team. The Relationship Officer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, facilitating loan applications, and promoting our financial products to meet sales targets. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with clients and contribute to the growth of DigiPesa Credit Limited.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Assist clients with loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is completed
    accurately.
  • Promote DigiPesa Credit Limited’s products and services to meet sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address client queries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Operations Manager and other team members to drive
    business growth.
  • Regularly visit clients to maintain relationships and provide financial advice.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related
    field.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or relationship management is an
    advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • A passion for customer service and meeting targets.

2. Credit Manager

Location: Dar es Salaam

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Credit Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing credit assessment, approval, and monitoring processes to ensure sound lending practices and minimal risk exposure for the company.

The Credit Manager will play a key role in maintaining the company’s portfolio quality and
supporting its growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and approve loan applications, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies
    and procedures.
  • Conduct regular credit risk assessments and portfolio reviews to minimize risks and
    defaults.
  • Collaborate with the Arrears Manager to ensure effective loan recovery strategies are in
    place.
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership in credit risk management, training, and mentoring staff.
  • Ensure timely reporting and analysis of credit-related metrics to senior management.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a
    related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in credit management, preferably in microfinance or
    banking.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk management and lending processes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
